American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Ambulatory Care outpatient triage clinic requiring a TX or compact RN license and day shift availability.

Details

• Ambulatory Care setting within an outpatient triage clinic
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, working 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment duration

Requirements

• Active Texas or compact RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration
• Three years of experience highly preferred, especially for first time travelers
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• A full seven-year work history, including all gaps, is required for consideration
• Must provide all relevant certifications and a full Nursys report dated within the last 30 days

Additional Information

• Ambulatory Care RN will provide patient triage and support in an outpatient clinic environment
• Must be willing to work two of three major holidays during the contract
• No requested time off allowed within the first two weeks; a maximum of 14 days requested per contract and no more than 7 consecutive days
• Travelers who have retired through the Texas Retirement System (TRS) must be separated from employment for at least one full calendar year before being considered
• Mask-wearing may be required for those not vaccinated against COVID-19
