Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position in California requiring a CA RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital float pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Float to various units as determined by facility need
• Required to work every other weekend, all major holidays, and holiday eves
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS, issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry settings
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status; local candidates are accepted at a different rate

Additional Information

• Modules are completed during orientation with varying hours based on specialty
• Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during the contract
• Background histories, including DUIs, must be disclosed prior to consideration
