Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with respiratory care skills and Cerner experience for night shifts with floating requirements.

Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department with periodic floating to inpatient med/surg or telemetry units as needed
• Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Must work every third weekend
• Holiday coverage required for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, but not both per traveler
• Travelers must be able to perform respiratory care using Hamilton equipment for high flow, BiPAP, and ventilators
• Cerner EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active IN or compact state RN license required or license pending by start
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, and CPI or MAB certifications required (either CPI or MAB, not both)
• 3-5 years of recent ER experience required
• Cerner experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• TNCC certification preferred
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Must not have worked at the facility within the past 3 years

Additional Information

• RNs provide both emergency and inpatient care, with training offered to expand inpatient skills if needed
• All RNs rotate between ER and inpatient assignments based on department needs
• Must complete up to 8 hours of online modules within one week of signing assignment
• Royal blue scrubs required
• No parking cost
• Professional conduct and reliability are critical; infractions may lead to immediate contract termination
