Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 18 months of recent permanent Cath Lab experience, an active OH or compact RN license, and Epic, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Position is in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, 07:30-18:00
• On-call required every other weekend or every third weekend depending on staffing, plus 1-2 additional on-call days per week
• Holiday coverage required for at least every other holiday
• Circulating and documenting are core responsibilities
• Epic EMR system is used and prior experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand with no license hits
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Cath Lab RN experience prior to travel
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior experience in circulating and documenting within the Cath Lab
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate exam during orientation
• Must provide one managerial reference from the Cath Lab specialty within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Cath Lab RNs will participate in all aspects of patient care during procedures including circulating and documentation
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed successfully during orientation, with two attempts allowed
• Permanent or per diem candidates may not return to hospital within one year of most recent contract end date
• Candidates must complete fingerprinting and badging onsite prior to their start date
• Modules must be completed prior to start and are billable up to 4 hours
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free screening requirements at this time
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate as travelers
