Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring a current CA RN license, advanced fetal monitoring, and NRP certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Care for mothers and newborns immediately postpartum
• Uses Epic EMR system, Epic experience preferred
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Expected to be comfortable caring for both mother and baby

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (AHA or Red Cross)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must provide two professional references from within the past year

Additional Information

• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Modules are assigned during orientation via e-learning, averaging 1-5 hours
• Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved; no Christmas RTO allowed
• 50 mile radius rule applies for travel status; locals are accepted at a local rate
• Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding
