American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position caring for renal and general medical patients on a 13-week assignment with floating required.

Details

• Work in a 21-bed Med/Surg unit specializing in renal medical and general medical patients
• Patient population includes adults age 18 and older, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis cases
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:6
• Shifts are 06:45-19:15 with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius may be required based on staffing needs and patient census

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Group A or Group B-F NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred and must be up to date per hospital policy

Additional Information

• All candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US address
• Only one position systemwide can be accepted at a time within Ascension facilities
• Holiday coverage may be required per hospital needs
• Local candidates may be accepted but will receive a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• Candidates should contact a recruiter to verify local rate if living within the radius rule
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
• Extension discussions should begin 45 days before assignment end date
