American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Renal Dialysis Unit position with day shifts and required BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Renal Dialysis Unit with a 24-bed capacity
• Provide care to patients with acute renal or diabetes disease processes requiring observation or acute care admission
• Patient population includes young adults through late adults (ages 18-60+)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6
• Day shifts from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• 13-week assignment with the potential for either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating between units or facilities within a 35-mile radius may be required based on staffing needs and patient census

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nursys license verification required prior to consideration
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification recommended
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address
