Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with at least 2 years of ED experience and a SC or compact RN license to work 12-hour day shifts.

Details

• Work in a stand-alone emergency department setting
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• Boarders patient ratio is 6:1, ED patients ratio is 4:1
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
• Willingness to wear solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms as scrub attire
• Social Security card and driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care in a newly built, free-standing ER serving diverse communities
• First-time travelers are welcomed
• Previous perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Completion of pre-start training modules required
• Block scheduling requests may be considered based on unit needs and require managerial approval
