Description

American Traveler is seeking a Neonatal ICU RN with an active GA or compact license, required NICU and PALS/BLS certifications, and recent Level 3 or 4 NICU experience.

Details

• Position is in a hospital NICU setting caring for critically ill neonates
• 13-week contract with potential extension
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with every other weekend or block scheduling
• May float to other departments and cross-campus to a sister NICU within a 12-mile radius
• Holiday coverage required, including Christmas or adjacent days

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years current NICU experience required
• Current PALS (AHA only) and BLS certifications required
• Level 3 or 4 NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• BSN preferred but not required
• Recent travel experience preferred
• Two references from a supervisor within the past 12 months required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted if qualified
• NICU RNs must be willing to float to other departments or sister campuses as needed
• Candidates are required to be nicotine free; hospital campus is nicotine free with cotinine testing
• Minimal or no RTO is allowed and must be disclosed at submission
• Holiday shift assignments may include the day of, before, or after Christmas
• Med pass/fail test is administered with a retest opportunity, and failure to pass can result in contract cancelation
• Compliance and all documentation must be completed seven business days prior to start
