Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with a TX or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and at least one year of recent ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating as needed within scope of practice
• No on-call required
• Uses Opus Clinic EMR system
• 13-week assignment
• Block scheduling may be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of one year current Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Documentation of work experience within the three years prior to consideration
• No local candidates within a 40-mile radius

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Must be able to float within scope to other units as needed
• Return staff may be considered if at least six months have passed since previous assignment
• Two professional references required for consideration
