Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility night shift with BLS certification and at least 2 years of post-acute care experience.

Details

• Work in a 58-bed long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF)
• Patient population includes rehabilitation, dementia, and 1-2 assist patients
• Night shifts are primarily 12 hours, with occasional day coverage as needed
• Patient ratios are 1:20 on days and 1:58 on nights
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage required, with more as needed
• Charting is performed with the PCC EMR system and experience is required
• Assignment is for a 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current LPN or LVN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTC/SNF or post-acute care experience
• Active BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with flexibility for occasional days

Additional Information

• Duties include providing care for patients with rehabilitation and dementia needs, assisting with ADLs, and support for 1-2 assist needs
• Local candidates within 80 miles are subject to local pay rates
• Location-specific orientation includes 1-2 shifts if arriving on time
• No on-call or call back responsibilities
• Weekend and holiday coverage depend on facility needs
