American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Labor and Delivery unit, requiring a MD or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NCC C-EFM certifications.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Care for neonates, adolescents, and adult patients
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty and to Mother/Baby as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NCC C-EFM certifications required
• Additional certifications preferred: STABLE, CPI, NIH
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience, with 2 years preferred
• References required: two satisfactory professional references from recent employers, including at least one supervisor or manager and one charge RN
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the hospital

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
• Must be comfortable floating based on unit needs within scope of experience
• First-time travelers are accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included upfront; changes after offer are not permitted
• Must complete training modules as assigned
• Return travelers must have a 6-month break before returning; former staff must have a 12-month break before returning as a traveler
• Travelers are required to cover holidays as part of the regular schedule
