American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shifts in a stand-alone ER with required BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Work in a stand-alone Emergency Department setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Patient ratios are 6:1 for boarders and 4:1 for ED patients
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units is required
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• SSN and driver’s license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First time travelers are accepted for this position
• Scrubs required: solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of application; more than 7 days or any holidays requires facility approval
• Must live more than 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel rate; locals considered case-by-case at local rate
• Previous employees must be separated from the MUSC system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and average 4 hours
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
