Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with at least one year of recent skilled home health experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Home health setting with adult patient population
• Day shifts, 8 hours each, typically 8:00 to 16:30
• Patient ratio is 1:1, typically visiting up to 6 patients per day with 30 productivity points as the standard
• Weekend shifts may be required and will be discussed during the interview
• No on-call requirements are indicated
• Locals are accepted for this role
• Charting is done in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis is required

Requirements

• Active WA RN or compact RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• At least 1 year of skilled home health nursing experience within the past 3 years
• OASIS experience required for those completing SOC (Start of Care)
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal transportation required

Additional Information

• Must provide timely communication and documentation
• Own transportation is required as travel between patients is necessary
• Occasional maximum travel radius may exceed 50 miles, though clients are generally grouped to minimize driving
• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rates
• Any color scrubs may be worn
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Parking is free
• Travel pairs are accepted, but each traveler must have their own territory and vehicle
• Former permanent employees must have a minimum six-month separation before returning as a traveler, subject to HR approval
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with the application
