American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night shift Emergency Department position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and strong emergency care skills.

Details

• Work in a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department
• Non-trauma and pediatric emergency services provided
• Facility is STEMI and Stroke certified
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No more than 3 days of requested time off allowed, and none in the first two weeks
• Must be willing to work holidays

Requirements

• Active and valid CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Proficient in arterial line and central line care, phlebotomy, IV initiation, and blood product administration
• Experience with procedural sedation, CVA, ICP monitoring, trauma and neuro cases, and respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP), and ABG interpretation
• Experience in triage and isolation precautions
• Professional references from supervisors within the past two years required
