American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in an Outpatient Surgery Center, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU of an Outpatient Surgery Center
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required
• Charting is done with Altera; experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license in hand required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience
• Current certification verification required
• Two references from supervisors within the past three years of employment
• Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated for at least one year
• Availability to complete required lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in an outpatient surgical setting
• Travel experience is preferred
• Required modules are completed during orientation and typically take 6-8 hours
• Clinicians must complete all required documentation prior to the start date
