American Traveler is seeking a Cardiovascular ICU RN with an active TN or compact RN license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 6-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit within a hospital critical care setting
• Patient population includes adult and older adult cardiac cases such as post-cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and post-cardiopulmonary arrest
• Responsibility for nurse-to-patient ratios suitable for a critical care environment
• Night shift position from 18:45 to 08:15
• 13-week contract with option for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Must work 1 of 2 designated holidays during the contract
• Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate, subject to a facility-based radius rule

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required with facility-specific update intervals
• Nursys verification and primary license verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Applicants must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Role focuses on caring for critically ill cardiac patients, including monitoring and management of complex conditions
• Must work collaboratively with interdisciplinary critical care teams
• Holiday coverage required for at least one holiday during assignment
• Covid vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023
• Assignment is an auto-offer position
• Travelers should discuss possible contract extensions with their managers 45 days before assignment ends
