Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night shift contract in Michigan requiring an active or pending MI RN license and Cerner experience.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 holidays during assignment
• Floating may occur within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Uses Cerner Powerchart EMR, Cerner experience required

Requirements

• Active MI RN license or eligibility to obtain; pending license accepted if applied within 24 hours of offer
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac telemetry or related nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required (pending certs accepted with commitment to complete before start)
• Cerner charting experience required
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from assignment location—no local candidates accepted

Additional Information

• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub color is Caribbean Blue
• Holiday coverage required for at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 8 hours of required modules must be completed prior to start, preferably within one week of signing
• Must not have been employed by the health system in the past 3 years for traveler consideration
• Professional conduct is strictly enforced, with possible immediate contract termination for violations
