Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Home Health RN with at least one year of recent home health experience and proficiency in Homecare Homebase EMR.

Details

• Home health setting covering multiple cities in and around Monroe, NC
• Patients include those with chronic diseases, wound care needs, and requirements for IV, pleurx, and wound vac therapies
• Expect to complete 6 patient visits daily, including routine, discharge, ROC, recertification, and reassessment visits
• Average daily driving distance is 60-80 miles, with mileage reimbursed weekly
• Caseload management of up to 25-30 patients at a time
• Uses Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR, Epic Rover (view only), and Focura for documentation
• No required weekend or call rotations, though these are optional if desired
• Schedule cycle is every 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent home health RN experience
• BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR is mandatory
• Proficiency in IV therapy, pleurx drains, wound care, wound vac management, comprehensive assessments, OASIS documentation, disease teaching, and episode/case management

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have strong home health experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the home unit for eligibility
• Orientation includes 5 days of NEO and unit-specific training
• Holiday coverage will be required for 75% of holidays
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Support provided by departmental leadership, scheduler, clinical manager, supervisor, and clinical team
