Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a hospice assignment with weekday hours and a requirement for NC or Compact licensure.

Details

• Work in a hospice field setting serving home care and hospice patients
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Day shifts only, no weekends and no on-call responsibilities
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions provided
• Any scrub color is acceptable

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license in hand
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of hospice field experience
• One supervisory reference from the past year required
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions or declinations accepted

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include providing hospice care to patients in a home-based setting
• Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation modules must be completed during or by the end of the first week
• Holiday coverage is not required for this assignment
