American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN with neurosurgery and med/surg neuro experience for a weekday day shift position caring for pre-op and post-op neurosurgery patients.

Details

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical Neuro unit
• Provides care primarily for neurosurgery patients including pre-op visits and post-op management
• Perform wound and drain care as part of daily responsibilities
• Monday through Friday schedule with 8:00 am to 5:00 pm day shifts
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active CA RN license in hand at the time of consideration
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Bedside nursing and neurosurgery experience required, including Med/Surg Neuro
• Competency in pre-op neuro assessments as well as wound and drain care

Additional Information

• Must be available to work at least two out of the three major holidays, with preference for candidates available for all three
• Responsible for managing pre-op neurosurgery visits and comprehensive wound and drain care for neuro patients
