American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for an evening shift position requiring EPIC proficiency and utilization review expertise.

• Position is based in a hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Responsibilities include both case management and utilization review functions
• Shift is Monday through Friday, evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Involvement with acute care patient populations
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system, prior experience required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an acute hospital setting
• Prior experience in ICU, Med-Surg, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Observation specialties required
• Previous charge nurse experience is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and care planning required
• Proficiency with CMS regulations required
• EPIC EMR experience mandatory
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance process with up to two attempts
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
