American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with CA license, EPIC experience, and advanced certifications for a day-shift position.

Details

• Work in the PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 11:00 to 19:30
• Weekend on-call requirements are minimal and only as needed by department
• Uses EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience required
• Patient population includes acute post-anesthesia care cases

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, issued by AHA or American Red Cross
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be able to go for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

Additional Information

• Responsible for comprehensive assessment, coordination, and delivery of nursing care including direct patient care and patient/family education
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care addressing psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Collaborates with care teams and maintains effective communication with patients and family/support groups
• Adheres to industry standards, hospital policies, and applicable laws and regulations
• Hospital requires that only one holiday is approved for time off
• Returning staff must have a minimum one-year break before returning as travelers
• Modules are completed during orientation via e-learning
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
• Locals are accepted at a different pay rate
