American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down Unit (SDU) night shift position in California requiring at least one year of recent SDU or telemetry experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Position is in a hospital Step Down Unit (SDU) setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Patient population requires cardiac rhythm recognition
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active California RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum one year of full-time recent (within last three years) Step Down or similar experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac rhythm recognition required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced cardiac skills
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred
• Team-based environment with support from experienced colleagues
• COVID and flu vaccination documentation required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Travelers may not exceed two consecutive years of service without a required 90-day break per HR policy
