Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least 2 years of recent ER experience in high-volume hospital settings and current BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule
• Patient ratios are typically 1:4, with the possibility of 1:5 depending on volume
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• EPIC EMR is used for documentation

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required (pending license may be considered)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Must have experience at hospital emergency departments with 1,000 or more visits per month
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIHSS required
• Must not reside in Moore County
• Not eligible if previously employed by FirstHealth within the last year

Additional Information

• Pre-employment drug screen conducted upon arrival to assignment
• Online learning modules must be completed prior to orientation, averaging 21.83 hours for ER nurses
• Holiday week time off requests cannot be accommodated
• All other local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Scrubs or uniform requirements are not specified
