Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift contract, requiring active GA or compact licensure and at least two years of recent NICU experience.

Details

• Position is in a Level 3 or 4 NICU unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend or block scheduling required
• Floating between departments and sister campuses within a 12-mile radius is required
• Care for neonatal intensive care patients, including complex and critical cases
• Charting is completed using Epic and Cerner EMR systems
• Holiday shifts required, must be willing to work either the day of Christmas or the day before or after
• Shift is three 12-hour nights per week

Requirements

• Active RN license in GA or compact state required at time of application
• PALS (AHA only) and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
• Level 3 or 4 NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must pass a medication/dosage proficiency test during orientation
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered if skills align
• Must be nicotine-free and able to pass cotinine/nicotine screening

• Responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity environment
• Must be willing to float to other departments and sister campuses as needed
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• No specific local radius requirement applies
• Minimal to no requested time off during the contract will be considered
• Compliance documentation is required 7 business days prior to the start date
• Holiday and weekend coverage is a requirement
• Scrub attire details will be provided during onboarding
