American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN in California with an active CA RN license and critical care certifications for a night shift contract.

Details

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Provides care for critically ill adult patients
• Night shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Assignment duration is 9 weeks
• Uses EPIC EMR system and prior experience is required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN preferred
• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred
• Experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent preferred
• All required certifications and license must be current at the time of consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing and monitoring critically ill patients in the ICU
• Team-oriented ICU environment with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Dress code requires appropriate hospital scrubs
• Required to provide the last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for compliance
• COVID and Flu vaccination may be required depending on hospital policy
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years of assignment without a 90-day break, in accordance with HR policy
