American Traveler seeks an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and critical care certifications for a night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Position based in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of application
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent ICU experience within the last 3 years
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred qualifications include a BSN, 2 years of recent ICU experience, NIH Stroke Scale certification, CCRN, and dialysis or SLED experience
• All required credentials and certifications must be active, no pending licenses accepted
• Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and DOB

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care environment, monitoring and responding to complex clinical situations
• Team-oriented environment with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Assignment subject to 2-year maximum per health system policy, requiring a 90-day break after two years
• COVID and flu vaccination may be required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
