Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical unit night shift position in Kansas requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Details

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient population comprised of general medical and surgical cases
• Athena Health charting system is used, and experience is preferred but not required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active KS state or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Two professional references are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients
• Must submit requested time off (RTO) with application
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security number required for onboarding
• First-time travelers will be considered
