Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment in California requiring a CA license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and three years of experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes those with stroke, heart failure, COPD, and substance use disorder
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum three years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the past year

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing care to a diverse patient population with complex health needs
• Teamwork expected in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
• Must be available for required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
