American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with a NJ or Compact license, Epic experience, and required certifications for a night shift position with multi-hospital floating.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to float within seven hospitals based on clinical skillset and facility needs
• Patient assignment may include telemetry monitoring duties
• No call responsibilities
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license in hand (pending licensure not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years specialty experience within last 12 months
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of consideration
• Trauma and Stroke CEUs required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass hospital-required Dysrhythmia Test on a PC within 72 hours of signing, with only two attempts permitted
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required at the time of consideration with no exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Role involves providing emergency nursing care and monitoring telemetry as needed
• Floating is required to multiple locations and may include MS/Tele, PCU, ICU, CVOR, or other units as per skillset
• Must complete orientation and required modules, including documentation of completion
• Must be clean shaven for N95 respirator fit testing prior to unit assignment
• Time off (RTO) requests must be submitted at the time of application and no RTO is permitted during the first week
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• First time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• Must be able to complete required labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Travel pairs are not considered for this assignment
