American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III high-risk Labor and Delivery position requiring an active NJ or compact license and advanced certifications.

Details

• Work in a Level III high-risk Labor and Delivery hospital unit
• Care for high-acuity obstetric patients, including early inductions and antepartum cases on continuous monitoring
• May float to High Risk Obstetric Unit (HROB) and up to two lower-volume affiliate hospitals as needed
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00-19:00)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR (experience preferred)
• Dysrhythmia test completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2.5-3 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience with at least 2 years in specialty within the last 12 months
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (PC only, max two attempts)
• Must provide COVID-19 and flu vaccination at time of consideration (no exemptions)
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for managing high-risk labor and delivery patients and providing continuous monitoring
• May be required to float within scope of practice to five nearby hospitals based on staffing needs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block scheduling is considered but not guaranteed
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to contract signing; no RTO allowed in the first week
• Clinicians must complete lab testing and fit testing (clean shaven required) as part of onboarding
• Travelers must be submitted individually; travel pairs are not accepted
• Hospital prioritizes candidates with less than four days RTO
