American Traveler is hiring an LPN with 2+ years of experience and BLS certification for a night shift long-term care assignment working exclusively with geriatric patients.

Details

• Work in a long-term care unit with a geriatric patient population
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required
• Patient ratio is 1:27
• Floating to other departments or campuses may be required based on volume
• EPIC EMR experience is required and utilized

Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Previous experience in nursing home or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

Additional Information

• Care for geriatric patients in a long-term care setting
• Duties may include managing trach, wound vac, TPN, central lines, IVs, gastrostomy tubes, and PROM machines
• Completion of mandatory unit-based modules during orientation, averaging 2-4 hours
• Pass/Fail EKG exam required during compliance with two allowed attempts; study materials are not provided
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• RTO (time off) must be requested at the time of application and will not be accepted after submission
• Education must be verified by a third party and not from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list
• No open background check cases are accepted
