American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with a CA license and 2 years of recent PACU experience in a high-acuity hospital setting.

Details

• Position is in the PACU of an acute care hospital
• Care provided for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients throughout the peri-anesthesia period
• Day shifts available: 4x10 hours, starting between 10:00–12:00 and ending between 20:30–22:30
• No weekend shifts required
• Floating may be required to other campuses if census permits
• Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

• Valid CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience in a high-acuity hospital
• ICU and Cath Lab experience preferred
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3–5 days of acceptance

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive peri-anesthesia care, airway management, and medication monitoring
• Required to complete orientation modules online during onboarding
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during assignment
• Return travelers must have a minimum one-year break since previous employment
• Local candidates are accepted at a local rate, with a 50-mile radius requirement
• All certifications must be AHA-approved and in hand at time of consideration
