Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a CA license, ACLS, and a minimum of two years' PACU experience for a high-acuity hospital assignment.

Details

• Position is in the PACU department of an acute care hospital
• Cares for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients through peri-anesthesia phases
• Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts with 11:00 or 12:00 start times
• No weekend shifts required
• Floating to other affiliated campuses may be required depending on census
• Epic charting experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Minimum two years’ recent PACU RN experience in a high-acuity hospital required
• ICU and Cath Lab experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of offer

Additional Information

• Role requires advanced knowledge of peri-anesthesia standards, airway management, and pharmacology for a broad patient population
• Returning travelers must have at least a one-year break from prior employment with the facility
• Only one holiday request off will be approved during the contract
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association and in hand at time of consideration
• Modules and orientation to be completed via e-learning, with average 1-5 hours of modules required
• Local candidates accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies
