Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre/Post Op position in Illinois requiring IV and Pre/Post Op skills.

Details

• Work in a 22-bed Pre-Op and Post-Op Surgery department
• Patient ratios are 1:1 in Pre-Op and 1:2 in Phase 2
• Provide IV starts and assist with admissions
• Uses Epic for computerized charting
• Day shifts available Monday through Friday with start times between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM, ranging from 8 to 12 hours

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pre/Post Op nursing experience
• Proficiency in starting IVs using Lidocaine

Additional Information

• Hospital provides scrubs as dress code
• 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation is provided
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted
• Float is not required for this position
