Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a NC or compact license and strong background in multiple surgical specialties including robotics for a day shift position.

Details

• Outpatient Surgery Center with 32 licensed beds
• Surgical specialties include orthopedics, plastics, DaVinci robotics, ENT, general, uro-gynecology, and sports medicine
• Average daily census of 60 surgical patients
• Work schedule is four 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with possible late days
• No weekends, holidays, call, or floating required
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Mint green scrubs are provided
• Free on-site parking

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic, robotics (DaVinci), sports medicine, ENT, plastics, general, and urology surgical cases
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RN, peer RNs, CNAs, CRNAs, surgeons, and APPs
