Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient Radiation Oncology position requiring a SC or compact RN license and 2-3 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Position is in an outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
• Monday through Friday, day shift from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float between three clinics, with primary assignment to one location
• Patient population includes oncology patients receiving radiation therapy
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• 2-3 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Oncology and outpatient clinic experience highly preferred
• Radiation badge required
• Chemo certification preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates may be required to join emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June to November
• First time travelers may be considered for this position
• Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must have a one year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs
• A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Non-billable training modules must be completed pre-start
