American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night or evening Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact license and Epic experience.

Details

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, either 19:00-07:30 or 15:00-03:30 as needed
• Care for a diverse population of patients experiencing emergency medical issues
• Uses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Certifications required: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; must obtain NIHSS prior to start
• Two supervisory references in the specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide copies of certifications and negative 10-panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
• No open background cases or active license hits permitted

Additional Information

• Engage in emergency care responsibilities in a high-acuity environment
• Holiday coverage may be required per shift needs
• Facility is 100% tobacco free; no smoking or tobacco use allowed on site
• Nicotine testing is required but nurses are temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem staff may not return to the facility for 1 year after their previous end date
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
