American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU pre-op clinic role requiring active MA licensure and proficiency with Epic charting.

Details

• Work in an anesthesia-based pre-op clinic
• Responsible for pre-op phone calls, medication reconciliation, coordination of pre-op testing, and patient education
• Care for patients scheduled for OR, Endoscopy, IR, radiation oncology, and cath lab procedures
• Schedule is 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays
• Utilizes Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MA RN license required at time of consideration; conditional licenses not accepted
• Required certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Pre-procedure evaluation or PACU experience is preferred
• Experience with medication reconciliation preferred
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required with no exemptions allowed
• Two professional references are required

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include coordinating and completing pre-op assessments and patient education calls
• Must use public transportation or paid public parking as no validated parking is available at the location
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• All RTO must be communicated prior to assignment
• Permanent residents within 60 miles of the assignment location are considered local candidates
