Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry position requiring strong telemetry skills and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
• Adult medical patient population
• Patient ratio is 1 RN to 4-5 patients
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 with every other weekend required
• Rotation may be required to cover open night shifts
• Floating to other units is required
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MA RN license required at time of consideration; MA conditional licenses not accepted
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips
• Proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required; no exemptions allowed
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Must accurately interpret and monitor telemetry strips for all assigned patients
• Position requires flexibility for shift rotation as needed
• First time travelers may be considered
• Parking may incur daily costs and public transportation options are available
• RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration
