American Traveler is hiring a Hospice RN for a home care role requiring travel experience and case management skills.

Details

• Home hospice setting with travel between patient locations
• Day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Requires case management responsibilities and managing a patient caseload
• Use of HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) charting system preferred
• Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate

Requirements

• Active RN license or temporary/pending license with confirmation of eligibility prior to start
• Minimum one year of case management experience required
• Prior home care/hospice travel nursing experience required
• Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• Ability to provide own vehicle for travel between patient visits
• ARC certification accepted

Additional Information

• Must be willing to manage a caseload and deliver care in patient homes
• Modules completed during orientation at no cost if finished within the first 16 hours
• Holiday coverage may be required during assignment
• Requests for time off should be minimal and submitted with initial application
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Travel pairs considered on a case-by-case basis
