American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and every other weekend coverage.

Details

• Position is in a Cardiovascular Cath Lab setting
• Day shift, 8 hours, 0630–1500
• 13-week assignment
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1
• Unit features 2 beds
• Common cardiac diagnoses and procedures managed
• Charting is done using Cerner
• Float as needed within skillset, including to IR and Echo departments
• On-call duties are required
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required, with medical or religious exceptions accepted
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to cardiac patients undergoing catheterization procedures
• Complete CMS Medicare Parts C and D Fraud, Waste & Abuse Training and Compliance Training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
• Scrub color not specified
• Travelers may only work 780 hours in the past 12 months and must take a 12-month break after two assignments before returning
• Approval process required for candidates with previous employment at the same health system
