American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PreOp/PACU position requiring at least 18 months of recent permanent PACU experience and active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Work in the PreOp/PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
• Call is required, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of application
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent PACU experience prior to travel
• One reference from a supervisor, manager, ANM, or director in PACU required
• No pending licenses or certifications accepted
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation

Additional Information

• Candidates will complete orientation assessments for ECG rhythms and safeMedicate requiring a passing score
• Call responsibilities include coverage during nights and weekends
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
• Former permanent or per diem staff must wait one year before returning
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed prior to start date
• Annual education modules are required
• Facility is temporarily exempt from nicotine-free requirements for nurses
• BCI/FBI background checks must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• PAPRs are not allowed for facial hair except with approved medical or religious exemption
