Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and BLS certification for a night shift position requiring EKG exam passage.

Details

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital setting on the MS/Tele/Behavioral Health unit
• Patients are managed at a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Night shifts are scheduled as 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend is required
• Float within scope and between like units or sister campuses as needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level III Trauma Center/Teaching Hospital environment
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact), no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification is required
• Minimum of 2 years MS/Tele experience
• Must pass EKG exam with no exceptions
• Epic experience required
• Background or license hits within the past year will not be approved
• Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must be gone from the facility for 1 year to return as a traveler
• System allows a maximum of 2 contracts before a required 6 month break
• RTO restrictions apply, subject to manager approval
• Modules (4–10 hours) must be completed pre-start
• Must provide interview availability for consideration
