Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1 year of OB nursing experience and certifications in ACLS and NRP.

Details

Work in the Obstetrics Unit of a hospital with 14 beds and an 11-bed nursery
Provide care to laboring and postpartum patients, manage preeclampsia, magnesium therapy, and newborn care
Use Obix central fetal monitoring system and Epic (Stork) for charting
Follows AWONN staffing guidelines for RN-to-patient ratio
Twelve-hour day and night shifts (7a-7p; 7p-7a), every other weekend required
No routine floating, but floating requirements may change mid-assignment

Requirements

Active RN license in hand
Current certifications in ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Minimum of 1 year OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Experience with central fetal monitoring and Epic (Stork) EMR preferred

Additional Information

Responsibilities include labor management, postpartum care, newborn care, and responding to deliveries when necessary
Twelve hours of orientation and training provided upon start
Dress code is personal scrubs
Will accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius at local rates
