Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical care unit working 36/48 hour weekly rotations and requiring KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a hospital ICU/CCU (2 West) unit
• Adult critical care patient population
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2
• Meditech EMR is used on the unit
• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30 with a 36/48 hour weekly rotation
• Bi-weekly orientation provided

Requirements

• Active RN license for Kentucky or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years ICU/MICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment except under extenuating circumstances on the unit
• Driver’s license is required for consideration
• Two professional references and gap-free work history required for consideration
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
