Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Endoscopy unit travel position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications with call and late shift responsibilities.

Details

• Work in the Endoscopy unit with responsibilities at two hospital campuses
• Primary shifts are days, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• May require late stay, on-call shifts, and occasional weekend coverage as needed
• No block scheduling is available
• Must float between both designated hospital locations during assignment
• Uses EPIC for charting; recent EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license required; pending state license will be considered if obtained prior to start
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of endoscopy nursing experience preferred; will consider 1 year on a case by case basis
• Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests during orientation
• Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility to be considered for this travel position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to contract; additional RTO requests will not be considered

Additional Information

• Must report to both Church Street and Mary Black campuses as scheduled
• Attendance policy enforced; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in contract review
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination or signed declination required prior to start
• No prior travel experience is required, but first-time travelers will not be considered
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests are pass/fail and must be passed on the first attempt
• Orientation typically includes required onsite testing on the first day
