Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Med-Surg Telemetry position with a WI or compact license and at least 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Work on Med Surg 7E unit, providing care in a hospital setting
• Primary assignment may be in PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Stepdown units based on skillset
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating required within the facility and to locations within 40 miles, based on need

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Valid NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address

Additional Information

• Candidates will be placed based on the greatest staffing needs and skillset
• Must be willing to float within scope of practice as needed
• All positions are auto offer
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate based on the facility's radius rule
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this assignment
• Holiday coverage will be required on a rotating basis
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license and two professional references for consideration
