Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.

Details

• Work in the ICU/CCU (2 West) of a hospital setting
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Schedule follows a 36/48 hour weekly rotation with 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Orientation is bi-weekly

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or MICU experience
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIHSS required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Copy of driver’s license required
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Travel pairs are not allowed except under extenuating circumstances
• First-time travelers will be considered
• All RNs are expected to perform patient care responsibilities appropriate to ICU level of care
• No local candidates accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule
